RS: Did you believe to go as far in football as a teenager?
KAKA: Honestly, no! My dream was to get to the professional Sao Paulo and playing just one game for the Brazilian NT. The Bible says that God can do more than we ask or think, and this is what really happened to me.
RS: Did your parents encourage you to play football as a child or being in a field was your request?
KAKA: I started playing at 8 years old when I moved to São Paulo from Curitiba (sic) [Note: I, Ingrid, believe there has been a mistake in this part, because Kaka was born in Brasilia, moved to CUIABÁ and then went to São Paulo. So I think instead of Curitiba, Cuiabá is correct, but it says so in the magazine]. They were always by my side, but never pressured, and it was good for me to have support at home and not a pressure.
RS: Was there a player, athlete from another sport, which was his idol and somehow has served as an example for your career?
KAKA: The best player I saw playing was Ronaldo (“Fenomeno”). Another idol I have is Ayrton Senna, both are examples, each in its kind, with features that made them winners.
RS: Looking back at all the accomplishments you achieved in your career, which one considers the most important?
KAKA: the titles that were won. I am happy to say that, as a player, earned the most team and individual titles possible.
RS: What motivates you to get up, go to training, overcome difficulties and criticism and strive for their goals in the sport?
KAKA: I have clearly defined my goals, what I want, and I dedicate myself to conquer them, always thinking of what I can do to be even better.
"Often the criticisms are hard, even unfair, but you are part and picking up strength. I see the bad phases, as I had with injuries, as a motivation, obstacles to overcome, always seek solutions at work to change these situations "
Striker says that still does not think about what might engage after deciding to abandon lawns since that time has not come close yet. Their goals focused on follow stabilize in NT.
RS: What the recent returns to Brazil squad after so long away, meant to your career?
KAKA: The calling up was very important to me. I was prestigious. Serving Brazil NT is a privilege, especially with so many good players that may be there. It meant a new beginning at age 30.
RS: How, in your experience and maturity, can help the team lift the cup in 2014?
KAKA: I believe that my technical capacity and tactics are the best help and also the experience of someone who has been to three World Cups.
RS: Do you think we are favorites?
KAKA: Always, in any competition. Because we are playing at home, besides the favoritism, the responsibility increases. The group is in formation and, in my opinion, the right way.
RS: We suffered a big change now, the exchange of technical short time to the World Cup. Do you think this change worthwhile?
KAKA: Enter a new coaching staff with extensive experience and who has won previous World Cups. This factor makes know some shortcuts to success in competition.
RS: What other teams may be hard to compete to?
KAKA: Spain is good and will be a favorite. Argentina, Italy, Germany, England and France are also traditional teams so they can make a great World Cup.
Married for seven years with the businesswoman Caroline Celico, Kaka is father of Luca (4) and Isabella (1). About eldest son follow in his footsteps, he says: "I leave him free to choose. For now, Luca just plays with cousins and friends having fun, but not so interested. "
And amid speculation about his possible departure from Real Madrid, is not impossible that the Brazilians are filled with hope: "Yes, I would return to play in Brazil, don’t want it now, but if one day return, would give priority to Sao Paulo ".
